Know When to Toss Your Mascara The PAO (period after opening) of mascara begins when you open it, and it is best to toss the old tube and buy a new one after the months defined in the PAO (on the box). Remember not to place the mascara brush on shelves and that it is strictly personal, do not let other people use it!
Try Not to Overdo It When it comes to coats, stick with two as a general limit; anything more will weigh down your lashes and start to give you an unnatural look. Always let the first layer dry for at least 30 seconds before applying another.
