Tobias Karlsson has extensive international experience in the retail industry, specialising in handling real estate issues. He started his career as a consultant at one of Sweden's leading construction logistics consultancies. In 2013, he joined the team at Turner & Townsend, a global real estate and retail consultancy firm based in Hong Kong. In 2015, still in Hong Kong, he joined the H&M Group as Head of Controlling for a number of the Group's brands, overseeing their management, efficiency and growth development. In 2017, he moved to Stockholm, where he worked at the H&M Group headquarters in the role of Global Head of Controlling Lease, with responsibilities related to budgeting and strategic planning for over 5,000 shops located in more than 74 countries. Starting in 2019, he covered the position of Head of Expansion for the Dutch market and from 2021 for Central Europe in the Hamburg office, maximising the growth of the multi-channel network and brand performance. He contributed to the optimisation of more than 850 shops through the implementation of a multi-channel expansion strategy. Tobias joined KIKO MILANO in March 2023 as Global Real Estate Director with the objective of leading an extensive global expansion and growth programme.
